About me
I was born in the sixties a very cold winterday in Stockholm. The first contact I had
with clay was at school. I still remember how fascinated I was of it and all that you
could do with it. The colors before and the transformation after it was burned was a real mystery.
A lot of time went by, I had lots of things on my mind other then clay, like growing up,
starting a career, building a home. As time went by, I felt that I really would like to have
another go at it. Wondering if I would find it as interesting as I did as a child. And it was
just lovely. So I kept on for a couple of years.
Sometimes things can happen in life and it did happen to me. I decided to turn my whole life
up-side-down, get married and move to Switzerland. A few years went by without the clay, but
pretty soon I felt that I must get my hands into it again. This time I decided to get deep into
it and follow the stories and let the hands do what they so desperatly wanted and needed and
loved to do. Finally I had found the way to my heart......
I wanted to learn more about this wonderful material and absolved a 2.5 Year long Ceramic
education at M-Art, where I got my diploma. During this time, I came across a book written
by Paulus Berensohn. This book had a great impact on me. The way he works and thinks about clay,
brought my perception of this material to a higher level.
I decided to educate myself in something called “Integral Creative Pedagogic” and hope
that I one day may help others to find their way to their heart.
